On Monday, the tribunal learned phone records and information retrieved from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a family holiday in Portugal - is one of the most widely reported child disappearance cases and is still unresolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

Another recorded message, played in court, recorded Ms Wandelt stating: "I know I'm heavy and not pretty like Madeleine used to be, but I feel what I know."

While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's answerphone expressed: "What if there is a slight possibility that I am Madeleine? What then? Is that not important for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a living here in Poland, I only wish to know," the recording stated.

The tribunal was told that through electronic messages, text messages and communications, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, sent youth pictures to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and asserted to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who gathered the information, informed the court there "didn't appear to be any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore communicated with close associates of the McCanns, based on the phone records.

On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "incorrect contact information."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt left a recording on Mrs McCann's answerphone declaring "I will continue and I will prove my point."

The court heard Mrs Spragg developed a connection through digital means with Ms Wandelt preceding joining her on a trip to the McCanns' residence in the county in December 2024.

Call logs showed Mrs Spragg had communicated via messaging service to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be taken seriously in the months preceding the visit to Rothley, the county, in last December.

The court learned message exchanges between the two defendants, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her garbage or from utensils at a dining venue.

"We must make a stand," Mrs Spragg advised Ms Wandelt.

On the evening of the appearance to their home, the defendant sent a message which said: "We're currently sat outside the McCanns' house with our headlights off similar to detectives. I had hoped to accomplish this with another person I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."

The case proceeds.
